Closed commemoration of the Roma victims of the Holocaust at Lety u Písku cultural heritage site

The public commemoration ceremony at the Lety u Písku Cultural Heritage Memorial in the Czech Republic, which annually takes place on 13 May and is traditionally organized by the Committee for the Redress of the Roma Holocaust (VPORH), was not convened by that organization this year because of the ongoing state of emergency due to the COVID-19 panemic. The Museum of Romani Culture, which administers the site of the Cultural Heritage Memorial where the annual ceremony takes place, decided upon consultation with VPORH to hold a closed ceremony at the site, which was broadcast live by news server Romea.cz.
