A city police from Pardubice is an active neo-Nazi and a member of the organisation POW that helps imprisoned neo-Nazis, the commercial television station Nova said today.¨The group Anti-fascist Action has submitted the photographs corroborating the suspicion, Nova said. The case is now being settled by the Office for the Uncovering of Organised Crime (UOOZ).

Policeman or neo-Nazi?

The Anti-fascist Action has acquired some photos on which the police is depicted in Nazi uniforms and under the swastika.

Jiri Kopecny from the anti-extremist department said the photos indicated this could amount to the criminal act of support of the movement that wants to suppress the freedoms and rights.

"If the suspicion is proved, we will adopt a radical stance and draw the relevant consequences," Pardubice Mayor Jaroslav Deml said.

Nova said it could not be ruled out more police were involved in the case. FOTO: NOVA TV
