Czech Republic: Religious service against hatred in Prague 3 August

03 August 2013
1 minute read

On Saturday 3 August at 19:30 in the Saint Martin in the Wall Church (Martinská 8) in Prague there will be a religious service in support of the people in Vítkov and everywhere else in the Czech Republic who are suffering from increasing intolerance and racism. The service will be led by Magdaléna Šipková, a student of the Protestant Theological Faculty, Charles University.

All are invited to attend irrespective of religious affiliation. The service is being held on the same day that an anti-Romani demonstration and neo-Nazi march is scheduled to take place in the town of Vítkov, where an arson attack on the local Romani community four years ago seriously injured the infant Natálie.
