Group give Nazi salute at Prague centre

A group of foreign neo-Nazis gave the Nazi salute on Saturday afternoon in Prague centre, a security camera revealed, the Prima and Nova televisions reported today.

Most of the neo-Nazis climbed the statue of St Wenceslas and then they jointly gave the salute. They chanted "Sieg Heil," Prima said citing an eye-witness.

The witness said the group had some 30 members and spoke mostly German. Somebody called the police, but the group left before they arrived on the spot.

Nova pointed out that the police did not arrive in time though they should be patrolling the area permanently.
It seems it will not be easy to identify the members of the group.

The latest BIS counter-intelligence annual report says visits of German neo-Nazis to the Czech Republic are more and more frequent.
