The Budapest-based ERRC has launched an English-language blog in order to "stimulate conversation and debate about what’s needed to make a difference in the lives of Roma across Europe". Edited by Bernard Rorke, the blog features interviews, legal analysis, news, opinions and a "resource center" drawing from the ERRC archives.

Featured articles upon the launch of the online project include a photo essay covering the dire situation of Dom refugees in Turkey; an interview with the newly elected Feminist Party MEP and Romani activist Soraya Post; opinion pieces on antigypsyism, children’s rights, and  statelessness; a tribute to the late Nicolae Gheorghe; and legal briefs covering developments on obtaining redress for forced evictions. ERRC chair Rob Kushen notes in his welcoming remarks that the blog intends to provide "room for feedback and for respectful dialogue".

Contributors include human rights activist Dzavit Berisha; Crina Morteanu, a lawyer and co-author of a handbook on tackling segregated education; attorney and European law expert Adam Weiss; and the ERRC’s Human Rights Monitor for Italy, Rosi Mangiacavallo. ERRC Media and Communications Officer Sinan Gökçen is hoping readers will join the conversation; send your comments and questions to him at sinan.gokcen@errc.org.
