Bloody Vendetta in Roma District in Bulgaria, 1 Dead
One man died and another 23 were injured at a shooting in the Roma district in Bulgaria’s town of Petrich late on Monday.
The shooter Krassimir Sandev, who has a criminal record, opened fire after a row with another man over a woman at the central square in the neighbourhood.
Random bullets injured the victim Valentin Stoykov, 23, as well as all the other casualties. Stoykov died about an hour later in the local hospital.
Several children have also been injured at the bloody accident.
The killer was a drug dealer and took part in the organization of an operating prostitutes ring.
The police continue guarding the hospital, where all the sufferers were taken.
The authorities let only the relatives to the wards although more than 100 Roma gathered in front of the hospital.
