Greece: Bomb explodes in front of Golden Dawn headquarters

Reuters reports that a bomb exploded early this morning in front of the headquarters of the neo-Nazi party Golden Dawn, which is seated in parliament. No one was injured in the explosion in a suburb of Athens, which caused only material damage.
"This was a strong explosion that did a lot of damage," Reuters quotes a police source as saying. The explosive was deployed in front of the party office in the Athens suburb of Aspropyrgos.
The extremist Golden Dawn party, which continues to gain strength during the intensifying economic crisis, won 18 seats in parliamentary elections this year. Recent public opinion polls report the party is the third-strongest in the country. In October, polls showed that 14 % of voters would choose the party, a doubling of its support since the June elections.
