LIVE BROADCAST TODAY AT 19:00 CET: "Light in the Darkness" - Romani community gives awards in Slovakia
The annual "Light in the Darkness" (Lúč z tmy) award in Slovakia is given by Romani figures and organizations to those who have long advocated for improvements to the position of Romani people in various areas of life or who have contributed, in a significant way, to building bridges between non-Roma society and the Romani community - the ceremony will be broadcast live online by ROMEA TV today. Slovak President Zuzana Čaputová has provided her auspices to the event.
ROMEA TV will broadcast the ceremony live today at 19:00 CET from Bratislava's Caffe Berinka. The event is organized by the eduRoma-Roma Education Project civic association together with the Institute for Romani Studies (Ústav romologických studií) at the Faculty of Social Sciences and Health Care of Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra.
