Myroslav Horvat: Many Roma have gone to war to fight for Ukraine. Pray for Ukraine!

In an interview for ROMEA TV, Myroslav Horvát, a Romani activist from Uzhhorod, Ukraine, had the following message for the world:  “[The Russian invaders] want democracy to end in our country, for us to not join NATO. They want Ukraine to no longer exist.” 

“Young Roma have gone to fight in Donbas, Kharkiv, Mariupol, Odessa and Kherson. They are also defending Kyiv,” the activist said, who along with other Romani people is aiding the Ukrainian Army and Police in Uzhhorod with preparing the defenses against the Russian Army.
