Czech Fulbright Commission calls on Romani students to apply for social enterprise summer school in the USA

15.11.2017 7:48 The Fulbright Commission in the Czech Republic is calling for Romani students of colleges and higher vocational schools to apply for a five-week Summer School on the topic of "social enterprise" at a US university. The aim of this visit is to introduce European students from socially disadvantaging environments to American culture and society and to give them experience in accessing civil society.  full story

Czech Government approves start of bill on social enterprises

17.5.2017 7:46 On 15 May the Czech Government approved a document outlining its intention to draft a bill on social enterprises which should establish clear rules for such firms, the
advantages they would enjoy, and the terms of state support for them. Czech Prime Minister Bohuslav Sobotka (Czech Social Democratic Party - ČSSD) announced the news on Twitter.  full story
