Czech MPs join platform against multiculturalism

31.7.2016 8:55 The Czech daily Právo reported on 29 July that Czech MP Zdeněk Soukup (ANO) has created a platform against multiculturalism. "Whoever identifies with our 10 commandments can become a member - if they can get over their fear. Some party secretariats view us with distrust," he told the paper.  full story

Czech PM asks MP to apologize for homophobic remarks, she refuses and will no longer run for office

16.7.2016 11:06 Czech Prime Minister Bohuslav Sobotka, head of the Czech Social Democratic Party (ČSSD), has called on MP Pavlína Nytrová to apologize for her "inappropriate and offensive remarks about homosexuals". If she continues to make such statements then she will no longer be able to run on the party ticket.  full story

Czech Labor Minister: Current system serves speculators in poverty

Czech Communists call on their people in Duchcov to end governing coalition with ultra-right

Duchcov/Prague, 15.12.2014 19:02, (ROMEA) The chair of the Ústí Regional Committee of the Communist Party of Bohemia and Moravia (KSČM) said Saturday that he will once again appeal to politicians in Duchcov elected for the party not to form a governing coalition with the right-wing extremist Workers' Social Justice Party (Dělnická strana sociální spravedlnosti - DSSS). Czech SocDems close local organization over ultra-right coalition

Duchcov/Prague, 13.12.2014 20:04, (ROMEA) The Czech Social Democratic Party (ČSSD) closed its local cell in Duchcov today after its members there formed a local coalition government with the right-wing extremist Workers' Social Justice Party (Dělnická strana sociální spravedlnosti - DSSS). Czech Republic: Activists convince Romani voters in Krupka not to sell their votes
