Romani kickboxer Václav Sivák of the Czech Republic wins again, holds the international WAKO Pro title a second time

Yesterday evening in Liberec, Czech Republic, Romani kickboxer Václav Sivák won the much-prized international belt as world champion of the World Association of Kickboxing Organizations (WAKO) Pro match in the 65 kg and under category. He scored more points than his competitor, Fouad Djebari.
The match was the most-watched contest of the gala evening for martial arts called "Night Of Warriors 4". Sivák was competing for the first time since April, as he has been recovering from an unpleasant hand injury.
"Thank you all, I'm very glad you all came. There won't be many such chances for me to compete in the Czech Republic," the kickboxer said just after winning the match, thanking the Night of Warriors organization for holding the competition even during these difficult times of increasing COVID-19 deaths.
"We are planning to compete abroad," he said of his future plans. Sivák dominated all five rounds and at the age of 22 now holds the title of WAKO Pro world champion for a second time.

Sivák last entered the ring in April when the prestigious Asian ONE Championship held its historically first tour of the Czech Republic. He defeated Romanian fighter Marian-Florian Soare by knocking him out in the very first round.
In 2019, at the age of 20, Sivák became world champion in the WAKO contest. At the close of 2020 he also became the national champion of the Czech Republic in classical boxing.
